So, uh...anybody here, who wants to see that flashback from Silver's past, we would have gotten, if the Treasure Planet sequel had been realized? No? Just me? Okay.

I wanted to do that character concept of young adult John Silver since I knew about the cancelled sequel. But I always felt like I would not be able to do him justice, because he is not an easy-to-draw guy.

Then, a few days ago, I just grabbed a few ref pictures and started with sketching the images on the second picture. It took me quite a while to get a hang of his features, but in the end I really do like my design and I had so much fun drawing his different expressions <3

I imagined him to be in his early twenties, when he still had both of his eyes and all of his limbs. And before his girlfriend left him, which ultimately lead him to become the pirate we all know.

Damn, I love this dude so much...and I still want this frickin' sequel!! But even more I want to see a whole movie about his past. That would be so intriguing and awesome! OO

Well...I have this stupid headcannon, that Maria likes to carry Shadow around before they go to sleep and he totally loves that, but never would admit to it. So he gave Dr. Robotnik the stare, when he took a surprise photo of the two...XD

Just some 2d animation Trollhunters scribbles I had to get out of my head. Random stuff, headcanons, au...you name it. Oh...and also myself as a half troll, because I just decided, that humans and trolls can somehow produce offspring XD

Soooo, uh...apparently I uploaded something again. But I think I just did it, to be able to thank those few people who had some kind words for me on my last entry. I'm really grateful for that, guys. Really.

That doesn't mean I feel different about the situation than last time. I am still highly insecure about my future as an "artist", be it online or offline. Maybe it's the work overload, maybe I AM getting old...I just don't know. Still need to somehow figure that out I guess. Until then, I might upload works now and then, provided that I had the time, will and/or strength to draw something at all.

This took me way longer than I had hoped for...and I will probably never draw anything in this style again^^'

It looks...okay, I guess? But it was kinda fun at least.

Again, I am way to late with this amazing series on netflix, since I have this streaming service for less than a year.

Love all the troll characters! Especially Blinky, Draal, AAAAARGH! and of course troll Jimbo! ^____^

Just felt like drawing my favourite monsters being scary. Well, except for one. He's the funny dude.

I'm actually kinda proud of this one, because I almost used no reference for these guys. The only things I DID look up are details, like the spots on Sully's fur, Tylor's stripes and the number of spikes on Johnny's tail. So yeah, they do look different in my style, but I just hope that's not a bad thing.

Just love the Monsters Inc. franchise. My favourite out of all Pixar and I can't wait for it to continue <3

So, uuh...I've actually never been a part of this fandom and I never played the games. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the live action movies got me into the Sonic franchise and now I can't get enough of those adorable semi-realistic furry characters <3

Obvious to see, who quickly became my favourite, after learning a little bit about him and his tragic origin. Makes me so hyped for the third movie and hopefully they don't screw this up (or kill Shadow off at the end, even if it kinda would make sense >___<)!

The images above are mostly screenshot redraws, just to get used to the character. Luckily he is pretty easy to draw though. Makes me wanna draw him some more, especially together with Maria. Those two are just the sweetest thing ever!

Apparently I couldn't help myself and did a second collection of young Silver character studies....<___<

But I've got them all out of my head for now and I'm gonna do his girlfriend next (who - funfact - already exists. I designed her a few years ago, but never uploaded the sketches).

I'm also planning on doing some practice drawings with Jim and Kate, if time is on my side.

Just a collection of scene redraws/character practices with those adorable furballs (well, mostly Sam and Guy). Nothing special. Just had fun drawing them. It's what I love doing most. Drawing (and creating my own) non-human characters.

I just love those two dorks. They've become my new comfort characters. Especially Guy. He's so damn relatable for me on a personal level, it always hurts seeing him fail again and again T___T

The ending to the tent scene we all wanted, but never got...so I just drew it <____<

Kinda struggled hard with myself to upload this one. I already made this in february, but was afraid to share it, because it's one of those artworks, that's very personal to me. Dunno how to explain it properly, but I believe all artists do have those works, which they rather keep to themselves.

But I changed my mind, so here it is.

I stumbled across this sketch while looking through old drawings and decided to finally finish it...after 16 years.

Treasure Planet was and is till this day my most favourite Disney movie of all time. Back then I used to stop the VHS tapes and draw whatever scenes I liked. This is how this sketch came to be.

I always loved this scene! When Silver and Jim first met and Silver is ordered to take care of the lad and how they are both NOT happy about this! XD

The final artwork turned out...ok I guess? I mean...it is just a copied scene I gave some colour and an edited background, because I am a lazy ass...=/

Briefcase buddies ^____^

So I originally planned to NOT draw stuff for a few days before I started my next bigger project...but then this series was recommended to me on Netflix and from the start it got me hooked. I ended up binge watching it over the weekend and after that I felt that sudden urge to draw those two precious dudes XD

Damn, this show had no right to be that good. And the frame-by-frame 2D animation is just gorgeous...

Now I want a 3rd season <___<

"So...wanna tell me, what happened at Fear Co.?"

That question came earlier than Jenna had expected. Sure, her panic attack this morning at Monsters Inc. must have raised a lot of questions, but for Tylor to make an immediate connection to her time as a scarer at Fear Co. definitely was surprising. Back at MU the two had been college buddies at best. And although Jenna always had some kind of deeper feelings towards him, he never seemed interested in getting to know her better.

And now here he was, looking at her with honest worry in his eyes. Up to this point, the only person she ever told exactly what happened, was Johnny. Not only because he had been her boss at that time, but even more so the only one whom she had trusted.

But with Worthington gone, and with him all the faith she had left, Jenna knew she had to learn to trust others again. Or she would be alone for the rest of her life. So why not start with her college crush? Right now he was giving her a chance. A chance to speak right from the bottom of her heart and thus sharing a burden way too heavy to carry all alone.

Aaaaand I will stop here, before this gets too long^^' But it was fun doing a little bit of character writing. Maybe there will be some more, should I find the time.

A little gesture can mean so much...

So I did a little bit of animation again...and Photoshop kinda killed the original colours in the fore- and background a little during the saving process -.-

I tried several different saving options, but the result above was the best I would get. I guess my old PS version just couldn’t handle the colour palette or something...=/

I think this will probably be my last animation in Photoshop. I do have Blender, but I still have to learn how to use it. I will stick to oldschool 2D animation, because it is simply my passion. It is frickin’ time-consuming, but soooo rewarding, when you get a scene done! X3

(And before anyone wonders: I got the idea while watching Atlantis. I made raw sketches from a few shots and then did the inbetweens)

Meet Jenna Clawden, my Monsters oc I wanted to draw for some time now. It's just the first info sheet about her (so more like a brainstorming thing I did for myself) and I tried to include her into the whole MaW worldbuilding (which hopefully makes sense the way I did). There will be more stuff about her background etc. because I always loved creating my own scenarios. I just don't do it as often as I want to and I don't even know why. Guess I worry too much about what people think about other people's fancharacters^^'

Funfact: I got her pink and greenish colour scheme from a toothpaste I used as kid. It was pink with green stripes and there was a cartoon crocodile on the tube XD

That's why Jenna's nickname is toothpaste...<____<
